Pokemon Go is hosting an Elite Raid Day featuring Mega Rayquaza, one of the newest Mega Evolutions added to the game. This one-day event is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2024, and offers players several opportunities to complete Elite Raids throughout the day. Mega Rayquaza Elite Raids will be appearing at 12 pm, 1 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm local time.
Mega Rayquaza, the featured Pokemon for this Elite Raid Day, will be found in Elite Raids at different times during the event. Successful completion of each Elite Raid will reward players with the chance to catch Rayquaza and earn Rayquaza Mega Energy, the resource needed to Mega Evolve one of your Rayquaza.
However, Elite Raids are more challenging than other types of Raids and can only be attempted in person, disabling the use of Remote Raid Passes. Therefore, players are advised to coordinate with other Pokemon Go Trainers to ensure they have enough firepower to defeat Mega Rayquaza.
To increase their chances of success, players are advised to use Pokemon with powerful Ice-type attacks against Mega Rayquaza due to its double weakness to this type of attack. This strategy will deal significantly more damage than other attack types.
