AI Takes Over, Replacing 60-person Writing Team

A company has made a drastic shift in its workforce, replacing its 60-person writing team with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company, which was thriving with a strong team of copywriters, decided to leverage AI to cut down costs. Initially, the AI model was used to generate outlines based on headlines fed by the manager. The team of writers would then work on these outlines, with the final edits being done by a writer who chose to remain anonymous for the interview.

However, the company soon decided to let the AI model generate entire articles, leading to most of the writers losing their jobs. The anonymous writer, referred to as Benjamin Miller, was retained to polish the AI-generated content and make it sound more human. Miller found himself doing everyone’s job, editing more than he had to with human writers. The work was repetitive and boring, making him feel like he was a robot.
