The Redmi 13 has been officially launched, marking it the first phone in the Redmi series to feature a 108MP main camera. This camera is based on the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, which supports 9-in-1 pixel binning and offers 3x in-sensor zoom.
In addition to the impressive main camera, the selfie camera has been upgraded to a 13MP sensor, a noticeable improvement from the 8MP sensor on the previous year’s Redmi 12.
One of the key enhancements in the Redmi 13 is the battery charging speed. The phone now supports 33W charging, almost double the 18W charging capacity of the 2023 model. Despite the increased charging speed, the battery capacity remains the same at 5,030mAh.
The Redmi 13 features a large 6.79″ LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Helio G91 chipset, which supports 108MP cameras. The phone is available in several configurations: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB.
The phone is available in four colors: Midnight Black, Sandy Gold, Pearl Pink, and Ocean Blue. It also includes a microSD slot that can support cards up to 1TB. The phone is slightly thicker and heavier than its predecessor, measuring 8.3mm and weighing 205g. It retains the same IP53 dust and water resistance as before.
