Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy M35, a new addition to its smartphone lineup, in Brazil. The Galaxy M35 has an impressive 6000mAh battery, which is 1000mAh more than the Galaxy A35, its closest counterpart in the A-series.
The Galaxy M35 is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also includes a microSD slot for additional storage. The phone runs on Android 14 out of the box with One UI 6.1, and Samsung promises 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.
The display is a 6.6” FHD+ 120Hz OLED with a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The larger battery makes the phone slightly heavier and thicker than the A35, weighing in at 222g and measuring 9.1mm thick.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro module. The front-facing camera is a 13MP unit punch-hole display. The phone also supports 4K video recording at 30fps and 240fps at 720p.
The Galaxy M35 is the first of the M3x series to feature stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. However, it does not include a headphone jack. The phone’s fingerprint reader is mounted on the side, integrated into the power button.
The Galaxy M35 supports Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.3, plus USB-C for charging. The charging speed is the standard 25W wired charging common in many Samsung phones.
The Galaxy M35 is available in Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Gray. It is currently available for purchase in Brazil, with a 10% discount bringing the price down to BRL 2,430, which converts to approximately $470/€435/₹39,000.
