Apple Slashes iPad 10 Price to $349, Bids Farewell to Home Button with iPad 9 Discontinuation

Apple has reduced the price of its iPad 10 to $349, making it more accessible to a wider audience. This price drop of $100 mirrors the selling price of the tablet at many retailers outside of Apple. The new pricing structure includes two storage tiers – 64GB for $349 and 256GB for $499, both reflecting the $100 price reduction from their original launch price.

Simultaneously, Apple has discontinued the iPad 9, marking the end of an era for Home button iPads. The iPad 9, which featured an older hardware design, was previously sold from $329. Despite its discontinuation, the iPad 9 can still be found from third-party retailers with prices around $249.

In other news, Apple also unveiled the redesigned iPad Air 6, available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, and a much thinner and more powerful iPad Pro, also available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. These developments indicate Apple’s continuous efforts to innovate and stay ahead in the competitive tech market.
