“Oh Frick Go Back” Tool Lets Windows 11 Users Control Operating System Ads

Windows 11 users have a new tool at their disposal to control the operating system’s ads. The tool, aptly named “Oh Frick Go Back” (OFGB), is the brainchild of Maddy (xM4ddy) on GitHub. This tool provides a simple checklist of all the ways Windows 11 can show you ads, allowing you to toggle them on or off.

The OFGB tool was created in response to the increasing number of ads appearing in various places within Windows 11. The tool offers a non-intrusive way of removing ads without having to replace entire parts of your operating system. It’s a welcome solution for users who are annoyed by the intrusive ads but don’t want to switch operating systems.

Interestingly, Maddy, the creator of OFGB, is primarily a Linux user. She created the tool out of frustration with the increasing number of ads in Windows 11.
