Motorola Edge 50 Pro Expands Global Reach: Launches in Europe, South America, and Asia

Motorola’s Edge 50 Pro, first announced in India at the start of the month, is now launching globally. The smartphone is making its debut in select European markets, Asia, Oceania, and select Latin American markets, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.

The Edge 50 Pro is priced at €700 in Europe, making it more affordable than the Ultra model, which is priced at €1,000. The Ultra model boasts more processing power (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 vs. 7 Gen 3) and a more capable camera system to justify its higher price. Compared to the €400 Moto Edge 50 Fusion, the Pro model offers a better chipset and screen, superior camera setup, and faster charging.

The Edge 50 Pro features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, a 1220p AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a capable triple camera setup. It also supports 125W charging for its 4,500mAh battery.

While there’s no mention of North America in the announcement, Motorola has hinted at expanding the Edge family in North America later this year.
