Apple’s Services Expected to Comprise a Quarter of Total Revenue by 2025

Apple’s services segment is projected to capture one-fourth of the company’s total revenue by 2025, according to a report by Counterpoint Research. The report predicts that Apple’s services revenue will cross the $100 billion per year mark for the first time by 2025. This growth is expected to be supported by the expansion of its hardware and services segments.

Despite facing scrutiny from the European Union and the US Department of Justice, Counterpoint Research remains optimistic about Apple’s future growth. The firm believes that any impact on the monetization of the iPhone’s installed base due to these legal and regulatory risks is unlikely in the medium term.

The report also highlights the success of the Apple One bundle, Apple Music, and AppleCare+ in driving the growth of Apple’s services segment. With a growing device base, these services are expected to reach inflection points. The publication also believes that emerging markets will continue to support future growth for other Apple products as many consumers will be new users entering the iOS ecosystem.

Despite the slowdown in iPhone sales, Apple’s services are expected to continue adding value to the company and its products.
