Samsung has reportedly brought back the ‘since last charge’ feature in its One UI interface. This feature, which tracks a phone’s battery level and screen time since it was last charged, was removed from Galaxy phones with the One UI 6 update. The removal made it more difficult for users to gauge their phone’s battery life.
However, Samsung has now revived the ‘since last charge’ feature as part of an update to its Device Care app. The update is currently available via APKMirror, but users can also wait for it to hit the Galaxy Store. The ‘since last charge’ feature provides a more useful metric than the previous option, which measured battery life over the last 24 hours regardless of charging.
The revival of this feature is a positive development for Samsung users, as it allows them to better monitor their phone’s battery usage. This move by Samsung follows similar actions by other brands like Google and Xiaomi, who also removed and then revived the ‘since last charge’ metric due to its usefulness.
