iPhone 15 Pro Max Long-Term Review: Continues to Impress with Performance and Design

The device is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but offers a leap in performance. The camera system has seen significant upgrades, and the A17 Pro chip is Apple’s most serious push into AAA gaming support. The introduction of the Action button adds a new interface element.

The device now features a grade 5 titanium frame, which is lighter than steel, reducing the weight of the 6.7-inch iPhone by about 10%. The design isn’t very different from previous generations, but the display has smaller bezels, allowing Apple to slightly reduce the device’s width. The iPhone 15 Pro Max weighs 7.81 ounces, down from 8.47 ounces.

Despite these changes, the iPhone 15 Pro Max continues to be the highest-selling iPhone model, with its special telephoto lens being highly profitable to supply chain partner Largan. The device is expected to account for 40-45% of iPhone 15 shipments in the first half of 2024.
