This feature simplifies the process of updating iPhone security by allowing users to receive security patches more frequently and without needing a full iOS update. RSR is downloaded automatically by default and may require a restart of your iPhone when updates go live. However, automatic downloads can be turned off, and users will receive fixes with each new iOS software update, as was done previously. This feature is currently available for devices compatible with the most recent Apple software, starting with iOS 16.4.1, iPadOS 16.4.1, and macOS 13.3.1.
