The new feature appears under the search bar on the Threads mobile app and is currently rolling out in the United States. The trending topics on the first day of launch included Aaron Taylor Johnson, spring equinox, Bruce Willis’ birthday, Hong Kong security law, and former president Donald Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba. This addition is part of Threads’ ongoing efforts to enhance its platform and regain its user base, which had declined after an initial surge in popularity.
