Lenovo has unveiled its new ThinkPad L and X-series laptops, all powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and priced below $1,400. The lineup includes the ThinkPad L16 Gen 1, ThinkPad L14 Gen 5, ThinkPad L13 Gen 5, and the ThinkPad L13 2-in-1 Gen 5. The ThinkPad L16 marks Lenovo’s first 16-inch laptop in the L series, focusing on improved AI processing and battery efficiency. Both the L16 and L14 have achieved a 9/10 repairability score from iFixit, offering features like Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and optional 4G LTE. The L14 Gen 5 also contains a brightness-enhancing 3M Optical Film that effectively reduces power consumption by up to 16%. Lenovo will begin shipping these laptops in Q2 of 2024, with prices starting at $1,179 for Intel versions and $999 for AMD versions.
