An international network of predators, known as 764, has been exploiting children through popular online platforms such as Discord, Minecraft, and Roblox. This network, which has connections to Satanism, coerces minors into self-harm and sexual exploitation, with some victims being driven to suicide. A collaborative investigation by WIRED, Der Spiegel, Recorder, and The Washington Post has exposed this extensive ecosystem that has targeted thousands and victimized potentially hundreds of children. Despite ongoing criminal investigations and attempts by major platforms to ban these activities, the network continues to operate and spread its harmful influence globally. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has seen a sharp increase in reports of such exploitation, highlighting the severity and persistence of the issue.
