Microsoft is set to launch a unified version of Microsoft Teams that allows users to easily switch between personal and work accounts. This new app, currently in testing, will enable users to toggle between different tenants and account types from the profile section. Scheduled for release to commercial users in April, the update will simplify the user experience by eliminating the need to install and manage separate apps for personal and professional use. The update will also improve notifications, indicating the team from which a notification originates and providing more detailed personal notifications. This move aims to resolve the confusion caused by the previous requirement of having two distinct Teams apps installed.
