Elon Musk abruptly ended a partnership with former CNN anchor Don Lemon for his social media network, X (formerly known as Twitter). The partnership was terminated shortly after Lemon interviewed Musk for the debut episode of “The Don Lemon Show” on X. Musk criticized Lemon’s approach as “basically just ‘CNN, but on social media,’” and stated that Lemon is welcome to publish content on X without censorship. Lemon responded by saying that Musk was upset with him and that “free speech absolutism doesn’t apply when it comes to questions about him from people like me.” Lemon plans to release the interview on YouTube and via podcast.
