OpenAI has responded to Musk’s lawsuit claims

OpenAI, the AI startup co-founded by Elon Musk, has responded to Musk’s lawsuit claims. The company revealed that Musk contributed less than $45 million, despite his initial commitment of $1 billion. OpenAI also stated that it had raised over $90 million from other donors. Musk’s lawsuit alleges that OpenAI breached its original contractual agreements by prioritizing profits over its founding mission to develop AI that benefits humanity. OpenAI responded by stating that the transition to a for-profit structure was necessary to secure the funding and resources required for developing artificial general intelligence (AGI). The company intends to dismiss all of Musk’s claims.
