Instagram has rolled out new Direct Messaging (DM) features and updated its Threads app. The new DM features include the ability to edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending them, pin up to three messages at the top of the inbox, disable read receipts for direct messages, choose from new chat themes, and save favorite stickers. These features are now available to all users globally. The Threads app has also been updated with new gestures for quick interactions. Users can now swipe right to like a post or swipe left to hide a post in the For You tab.
