Microsoft introduces Copilot AI chatbot for finance workers in Excel and Outlook

Microsoft has launched Copilot for Finance, an AI chatbot designed to assist finance professionals. The chatbot can perform tasks such as variance analysis, data reconciliation in Excel, and speeding up the collections process in Outlook. It can also draw on information stored in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The tool is currently in public preview, with pricing details to be announced later. The Japanese advertising agency Dentsu will use the Copilot for finance tasks. Microsoft’s finance department has reported time savings from using the new tool.
