Android phones will work as webcams via Microsoft’s Phone Link app

Microsoft is gradually rolling out a new feature for Windows Insiders that allows Android phones to be used as webcams. This feature, part of Microsoft’s Phone Link app, enables Android devices to work wirelessly and can be used for any video application on Windows 11 PCs. Users can switch between the rear and front cameras, pause streams, and use video effects. To use this feature, your device must be running Android 9.0 or above and have version 1.24012* or later of the Link to Windows app installed. The feature will be disabled by default and can be enabled in the settings.
