The Intercept, Raw Story, and AlterNet sue OpenAI and Microsoft

OpenAI, the organization behind the AI chatbot, is facing copyright infringement lawsuits from three news organizations: The Intercept, Raw Story, and AlterNet. The lawsuits, filed separately in the Southern District of New York, allege that OpenAI used copyrighted works to train its AI models without proper citation or credit. Each violation is seeking a minimum of $2,500 in damages and the removal of the articles from the training set. The Intercept has also included Microsoft in its lawsuit.
