Google Maps now makes it super easy to stay on track while navigating

Google Maps has introduced a new feature called “glanceable directions” that allows users to view directions and arrival times on their lock screen without needing to unlock their phone. This feature is now live on both iOS and Android. It provides a route overview without the need to start navigation, offering turn-by-turn directions and a live ETA on the lock screen. This means users no longer need to unlock their phone and open the Maps app to figure out their next move. The app also dynamically adjusts the route if users deviate from the planned path. This feature can be turned on in the Navigation settings in the main Google Maps Settings menu.
