Bitcoin tops $62,000 to close out its best month since 2020

The cryptocurrency market experienced a significant surge on the last day of February. Bitcoin’s value increased by more than 4%, reaching $62,901.93. At one point on Wednesday, it had surged to $64,000 before a wave of long liquidations triggered a pullback to about $60,000. Ether also advanced by more than 6% to $3,483.33. The month of February saw explosive gains in Bitcoin and Ether, with increases of 47% and over 50% respectively. The surge in Bitcoin’s value is attributed to the supply and demand dynamics, new ETFs, and the upcoming Bitcoin halving.
