Planity raises $48 million because even hair salons need their own SaaS product

Planity, a French startup, has raised €45 million ($48 million) in a Series C round led by InfraVia Capital Partners. The company offers a SaaS product for beauty salons, including hair and nail salons, and has over 40,000 small businesses using its platform for appointment booking. Planity’s product replaces traditional paper notebooks used in salons and allows customers to book appointments online. Unlike other platforms, Planity charges a monthly subscription fee instead of a commission on each sale. The funds will be used for staff expansion and pan-European growth.
