Samsung has started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy S24 series. The update, currently available in South Korea, is expected to be available in the US starting February 22. The update includes several camera and imaging improvements, a new Vividness slider that lets users adjust the screen’s vividness, and the February security patch. Some of the camera improvements are specific to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but overall image quality should improve across the lineup. The update also improves the expression of fast-moving subjects in backlight conditions in rear photo mode and the exposure and color expression of subjects in photo mode.
