Microsoft’s gaming chief on Xbox games coming to PS5, next-gen hardware, and more

Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, has been advocating for Xbox games on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. He believes that exclusive games will become a smaller part of the gaming industry in the next five to ten years. The company plans to bring four yet-to-be-announced Xbox games to other consoles. Spencer emphasizes that more people playing games is never a bad thing and that the choice of console or PC should not be a barrier to enjoying games with friends, family, or strangers over the internet. He also does not rule out the possibility of current releases being part of this wave of games in the future.
